Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge

After much prodding from many a friend, I applied to run the Boston Marathon. I’m running with Dana-Farber and raising funds for cancer research. As many of you may or may not know, cancer has been a pretty prevalent force in my life. I’ve lost family members – Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Penny – and seen friends battle it – from lung cancer to breast cancer – Laurie & family, Aunt Doris, Carly (even my dog Layla and kitty Oliver) – It’s something I’ve never been able to control. Through running I found peace and solitude – my way of fighting back. Running in the Boston Marathon and running for this cause that is so close to my heart would be the ultimate running experience. I just need your help to get there – whether it’s financial support or just spreading the word. Can’t wait to share this with all of you!
